
Bikers began arriving by 10:30am and enjoying the refreshments and coffee provided by the youth group. Many choose to attend the morning worship service beginning at 11:30, while others talked and admired the bikes. Reservation provided music beginning at 12 noon. The short blessing service began with Greg Wiggers of Reservation playing a classical-style arrangement of the National Anthem on his guitar. Many in the crowd began singing along with most joining in by the end. Youth group members distributed honorary ribbons designed and created for the vererans by Janice Kondik. Carmen Ragu, a long-time biker, shared his journey to find and trust Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Pastor Jim Hibschman then concluded the service by praying for safety and God's blessing for the riding season. Over seventy riders then mounted fifty seven bikes to begin the riding season. Thirty five riders made the short ride to Mikes Place in Kent for a leisurey lunch, followed by a longer ride down SR 303 and SR 3 to Medina. Many new faces joined the bikers at Crossroads Community Church for the event and fun and Blessing were enjoyed by all.
